Artist
Artist JESSE MICHAEL NEWMAN built his career in visual effects — ranging from creative directing Super Bowl LV’s augmented-reality graphics to designing the interface for Batman’s phone in Justice League to working on projects that are now part of the permanent collections of the MOMA and Whitney Museums.
Essential to his career — the primary means through which he learns software — is his personal artwork. His art provides fertile ground for inspiration, and through extended sabbaticals, he becomes immersed in the visual effects tools that breathe life into these ideas. His artistic debut was at the International Art Expo in March 2012, where he was recognized by Art Business News as a Top 50 Emerging Artist worldwide.
His art and career have a symbiotic relationship; with both, he continues to push visual effects boundaries.
